Basalting glaze has high resistance to the action of concentrating acid and alkali, that can be explained by their glass-crystal structure. We want to note their decorative properties: the color is from black to dark-blue. The regime of burning has influence on the coulored tone of glaze. We can make a conclusion, that the application of basalt as a fundamental component of glaze mass allows to receive cheap decorative glass and to widen the raw material’s base.
